By the Bog of Cats

In the Fall of 2022, I played the role of Joseph Swane in Trinity Christian College's mainstage production of "By the Bog of Cats." I enjoyed playing this role and appreciated the ways that pushed me to become a more well rounded actor. Since the play is set in the midlands of Ireland, I, along with the rest of the cast, learned an Irish accent. Also, the character of Joseph Swane was a ghost who couldn't see any other people . This meant I didn't make eye contact with any other actors. This was challenging, but it lead me to explore other ways to connect emotionally with my scene partners.
